Castle Pines North: A City Surrounded By Nature

castle-pines_400Castle Pines North is one of the greenest and most attractive communities in the Denver area. In addition to the open space within the city itself, there is a huge amount of undeveloped countryside in the surrounding area, most of which has been set aside as parks and areas of protected wilderness, and will therefore stay in its current pristine state.

Castle Pines North became an incorporated city as recently as 2008, making it the newest city in the region. Creation of a city from the neighborhood has been carefully managed in order to preserve the spirit of the local community and prevent it from becoming over commercialized.

Acres Green is an unincorporated community in Douglas County. It is a peaceful suburb that is the oldest residential development in its area of northern Douglas County. Acres Green is a popular neighborhood for commuters and families. The neighborhood consists of a range of different property types, all surrounded by beautiful parks and open spaces.

The development of the Acres Green neighborhood began in 1971, as the growth and economic prosperity of Denver was creating a demand for more housing in the region. Wildcat Ridge: Take a Walk on the Wild Side

wildcat-ridge_800Wildcat Ridge is a community in Douglas County that is situated just to the east of Highlands Ranch. It is a small neighborhood of approximately 400 single family homes. Most of the buildings in Wildcat Ridge were constructed between the years 1995 and 2003. There are a range of different architectural styles within the neighborhood, some of them contemporary and others more traditional. An interesting feature of the area is that many of the street names have been named after different species of wild cats, including the Puma, the Tiger and the Cheetah.
