Westridge Pointe: Mountain Views in Highlands Ranch

Westridge Pointe is located within the Westridge section of Highlands Ranch. It is an attractive neighborhood with wide, tree lined streets and many large family homes. Many of the homes in Westridge Pointe have spectacular views of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. There are also plenty of homes in the neighborhood that are situated alongside the area's beautiful parks and open spaces. Homes that back onto Marcy Park, Redstone Park and the Spring Gulch Greenbelt are particularly desirable.

Marcy Park has plenty of open space as well as an excellent children's playground, which makes it very popular with the area's younger residents. Redstone Park also has a children's play area, but it also has sports facilities for tennis, ball games and soccer, as well as batting cages and a skate park. Dog owners living in the Westridge Pointe area have access to the Rover's Run Dog Park, where they can allow their pets to run free and meet some of the local dogs and dog owners.

The local parks offer a wide range of sporting and recreational facilities, and residents of Westridge Pointe also have access to the extensive network of the Highlands Ranch trails system, which is very popular with walkers, runners and cyclists. Another favorite route for many of the locals is the Highline Canal trail.

Highlands Ranch has four recreation centers, all of which can be used by the residents of Westridge Pointe. The nearest recreation center for people living in this neighborhood is the Westridge center. The recreation centers, as well as a selection of local parks and other amenities are run by the Highlands Ranch Community Association. This active organization also offers numerous activities and social events for residents of the area. The Highlands Ranch Golf Club is also popular with the local residents.

Residents of Westridge Pointe have access to plenty of different shopping opportunities, restaurants and entertainment venues. The town center of Highlands Ranch is within easy reach of the Westridge Pointe neighborhood and offers some excellent restaurants and a range of different shops. The Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center and the massive Park Meadows Mall are also less than a quarter of an hour away from Westridge Pointe.

Westridge Pointe is a popular area for families with children because of the wide range of amenities and the abundance of open space. The neighborhood lies within the school district of Douglas County. Students from this neighborhood usually attend Trailblazer Elementary School before moving on to Ranch View Middle School and then ThunderRidge High School.

Westridge Pointe is also an ideal location for anyone who needs to commute to work elsewhere in the Denver region. There is an excellent public transport system and Westridge Pointe also has great road connections to Denver and the surrounding area. Many of the residents of Westridge Pointe commute into downtown Denver, or travel to work in Meridian or other nearby centers of employment.
