What is Denver Home Staging?

Home staging is the best way of selling your home for the most amount of money that you can. This is the process of "dressing up" your home so it looks more appealing to the buyer. In proper home staging, the good features of the house are brought out and broadened, while the less appealing parts of the house are brought to a minimum, making the potential buyer not see them as well. Staging a house shows the potential buyer what the house is capable of looking like, instead of showing them something that they would not really like, but could deal with. This not only helps the seller sell the house faster and make more profit off of it, but it shows the buyer what can be done with the house and inspires them with creative ideas that they could do once the house has been purchased. It is a win-win scenario for both people.
A survey taken of 2,772 homes that were sold between the months of March 1 and September 30th during the year of 1999. Out of this group, 129 of the homes were staged, which was 4.7 percent of the total. The group of homes that were not staged were on the market for an average of 30.9 days, while the group of homes that had been staged were on the market for an average of 13.9 days. Not only were the homes that were staged sold faster, but they also brought in more profit on average then the homes that were not staged.
Most people will not stage their home because of the extra cost it will take to sell the home. According to the study, that is a mistake. Staged homes sell faster and for more profit then homes that aren't staged. In the USA there are a very slim number of homes that are staged compared to the total amount of homes that are sold each year. California, out of all the states, is the leading state that sells the most staged homes.
Although staging does take time and money, it is well worth it. You don't even need to have a creative eye as most staged home sellers will hire an interior designer to help them. Some designers will have you buy very little to add to your home, and try to work with what you have, while others will have you try out a "fresh" new look. Either way, it will make your home look the best.
